Beautiful clarity and singular lilting voice. I honestly think Scotland has landscapes queueing up to be immortalised by you, as your work captures so much more than the physicality of a place, you echo its song and story with beguiling economy. I always come away from your work smiling and grateful for it’s continuation 🙏♥️

Hi Dan, I am definitely taking your quote and using it !! Thank you so much, I can’t be as articulate as you but it means a lot to hear what you say. I must come up to your neck of the woods one of these days and do some drawing – I was in Aberdeen at the weekend visiting the newly refurbished public ary gallery ( which was brilliant ), and I was thinking about the particular quality of light you have up there. It is different to this part of Scotland – the clarity is astonishing 🙂 Anyway thanks again and hope you’re enjoying your own painting at the moment. Cheers, Dominique
